ABSTRACT
In this paper we proposed a systematic discussion of Poulantzas’ study on capitalist State. From this discussion, we advanced in recognition of general determinations of the more concrete phenomenon, namely the development of the capitalist state as the nation-state from the perspective of the critique of political economy developed by Marx. The development continues to analyse the expression of those determinations in the case of capital accumulation process in Argentina and their reproduction through regional integration in Mercosur. Within this process is discussed specifically the integration of the productive sector of the automotive industry, recognising in this concrete phenomenon the general determinations of the capitalist state.
